Mills Beach is a beautiful and family-friendly beach located in Mornington, just one kilometer north of Mornington Pier. It features shallow water, making it ideal for swimming, paddle boarding, and other water activities. The beach is known for its picturesque views, native vegetation, and the famous Mornington Peninsula Beach Boxes. Visitors can enjoy a grassy picnic area, a stone sea wall, a bridge over Tanti Creek, and a small carpark. While it can get a bit busy at times, Mills Beach remains a popular spot for both locals and tourists looking for a relaxing day at the beach

You should first check with Mornington Peninsula council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
